She blossoms

Paper Bag Series

Since #quarantinebutmakeitart you know that I like to draw attention to the importance of re- and up-cycling and in general minimise the landfill. With Hotel Quarantine in Hong Kong coming to an end, we hopefully leave this depressing area behind us and move on with much happier topics.

Fully up-cycled

"She blossoms" are paintings that I run literally next to other projects. Whenever I paint I keep a blank paper bag "canvas" next to me to use up all colours on the tray that haven't been used. Nothing is left behind!

With a rather "freestyle" sort of start, these paintings slowly became flowers - as an appreciation of the beautiful nature I am surrounded by. "she blossoms" is happy, colourful, bold and fully up-cycled.
